[ad_1]

Gabriele grew up in the small town of Origgio, just outside of Milan, Italy. He attended the Liceo Artistico and went on to study fine arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, also in Milan. He has lived in London, Munich, Copenhagen and Los Angeles, his current home base.

Gabriele started his career as a comic book artist drawing for Diabolik a Visund Dylan Dog. In 2001, he wrote and directed the animated short The Shark and the Piano, which received several awards at film festivals all over the world. He also worked as a visual development artist on Walt Disney’s Fantasia 2000.

He joined Dreamwoks Animation in 2003 as lead animator on Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. He went on to work as animator on Shark Tale, Flushed Away, Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2, Megamind and How to Train your Dragon, and as story artist on Shrek the Third and The Croods. He received additional credit for his work on The Croods as animator of the main character Grug and as Anatomy Consultant.

He illustrates women of different colors, race, and body size; which is! In my opinion, these images, reach you in an emotionally positive way; they want you to connect with and at the same time, appeal to your eyes!
