It’s hard not go get swept up in the work of Hadar Ariel Magar, an Israel-based photographer who finds inspiration in nature and dreams. Often set in fields or rivers, her work has a dreamy quality that can be both calming and disturbing. Photography, for Magar, is a therapeutic act that allows her the freedom to explore avenues of self-expression.
Speaking about her work, she says, “Though my work I try to convey a story, told with emotions of intimacy and sensitivity. The dark and delicate things you find in nature can be very poetic, and it inspires me very much.”
