Julie Cockburn Re-imagines Old Photographs

London-based artist Julie Cockburn incorporates colorful thread into vintage photographs, creating enigmatic yet vivid collages. Through the manipulation of found photographs, the artist transforms everyday objects into works of art. Cockburn reforms the found images by cutting, embroidering and making collages.
