Brendan George Ko’s Record Of Being

In his series ‘nada’dey-wey’stid’, which reads phonetically as not a day wasted, we are granted a sunshine-laden insight to Ko’s world. Splitting his time between Toronto and Maui, the collection of photos are a visual scrapbook of his life in these places during 2018. Of such autobiographical work, he explains “I am creating and recreating a history of all that I am, with words, and images, so that I can remember beyond my memory, for a record of being.”
