The impressive outdoor space is located between the hills and ocean in Six-Fours-les-Plages, a small province in the Côte d’Azur region. The area is covered with more than 100,000 ceramic tiles, and features a 25 meter long pool, a diving board, a hammock, spherical light fixtures, and an expansive open terrace with views of the ocean. The stunning private residence was photographed exclusively by Laprade, who was commissioned by the French art center Villa Noailles to document Capeillères’ house. The series was part of an exhibition titled ‘Domestic Pools’, showcasing some of the most remarkable swimming pool architecture from the 20th century.
