You’ll not only get to polish your video editing and writing skills, you’ll have the opportunity to help build a dynamic internet-based business that makes it a priority to stay on the pulse of what’s new and exciting. Most of all, we’re looking for passionate, motivated people who want to be a part of something bigger.
Video editing experience
Excellent writing and communication skills
An enthusiastic, professional attitude
Thorough understanding of social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, and more
Passion for art, design, photography, architecture, technology, environmental issues, and inspiring stories
A person who naturally thrives from engaging others through thoughtful, creative, and clever dialogue
Previous experience managing social media accounts for a media company or brand is a plus but not necessary
Daily and Weekly Tasks:
Search for video content
Reach out to artists for permissions
Social media amplification
Build and maintain partnerships
You’ll have a very flexible schedule – you can work from anywhere
You’ll become an expert in social media and will gain first-hand knowledge working with a top art and culture website
The Video Assistant will work 1-3 hours per day for five days a week
This position is paid hourly
