The nurses recently took the spotlight on social media after Jill Krause, the writer behind parenting blog Baby Rabies, shared Katie Lacer’s photo of a nurse helping a woman who just gave birth. And it has unearthed a whole portfolio of Krause’s works that capture the emotional and physical intensity of a nurse’s job, while also showing the beauty even in the most difficult of times.
