A Visual Record of New Jersey Bikes & Ink in the 80s in Photographs by Pulsating Paula

[ad_1]

Pulsating Paula tapped us with her eye-popping photographic archive of the New Jersey bicycle and tattoo group she shot back in the ’80s & ’90s.

These visuals discuss of authenticity, grit, and very good periods. Looking at these uncooked, straightforward shots what speaks to me is that lifetime itself is f’ing good, if you have the nuts to genuinely go out and are living it. It’s not the things. You need to have to exhibit up, be authentic, truly enjoy family & buddies, wherever you are and what you have. When you do that you know you have all you want.

“Born in Jersey Town. Moved to New Brunswick when I was 8. Received married to my 1st lay in 1973. 10 yrs later on he acquired me a digital camera, a Canon AE1. I even now have it. Started off having images of biker parties and tattoo occasions. Sent them into ‘Biker Lifestyle’ journal who later Paisano publications took above. They came out with ‘Tattoo’ magazine initially of it’s form at any time. Concerning the Biker and Tattoo publications I experienced thousands of images released. The 10 minute set up of my photography studio consisted of 2 flood lights that burnt the shit out of any weak man or woman in front of them, and a 6×9 foot black fabric I obtained from Kmart that was tacked onto a wall. Under no circumstances considered myself qualified at any time. I just cherished undertaking it with every fiber in my physique. I know the fantastic persons I achieved and places I been in this journey will live on without end in my images. I’m so glad I was there with you.” – Paula Reardon (aka Pulsating Paula)
