Polish surrealist Bolesław Biegas (1877–1954) designed lots of artworks in paint and in sculpture. It was, of course, his collection of fantastically weird vampire themed paintings that appealed to me the most. Where by the conventional depictions of vampires portray humanoid bat like creatures, Biegas carried by way of a wild bestiary of intepretations.. insect vampires, winged camel vampires, elephant vampires, and so on.
