Bound Furniture By Maarten Kolk & Guus Kusters

Since studying together at the Design Academy Eindhoven, Maarten Kolk and Guus Kusters have been collaborating on autonomous projects and the design of exhibitions.

Produced under Kolk and Kusters’ namesake label, the ‘Bound’ collection assembles scrap materials into forms of minimal furniture, held together by ropes and knots. The ‘Bound Stool’ and ‘Bound Bench’ utilise linoleum and chipboard, and continue the Dutch design duo’s poetic exploration of material and innovative methods of production. The collection is set to be showcased at the Dutch Design Week in a featured exhibition entitled ‘Linoleum, a different dimension’.
