Brutal 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Touring Berlinetta

Initial revealed at the 1935 London Motor Present, the 8C 2900A was a sports racer qualified to the gentleman driver, driven by a supercharged 2.9-liter inline eight-cylinder motor rated at 220 horsepower.

In the hands of Scuderia Ferrari, Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A types swept the podium at the 1936 Mille Miglia, backing up this overall performance by ending 1-2 in the 1937 race. Not just about every consumer needed (or wished) a motor vehicle with this amount of effectiveness, so in reaction Alfa Romeo established the the somewhat extra comfortable 8C 2900B in 1937.
