Curved Forms And Soft Tones Define Rinå Lovko Studio’s Apartment MID

Located in Ukraine’s capital, the 165-square-meter apartment presents a minimalist and contemporary interior design with an excellent eye for craftsmanship, detail, and finish. “The main feature of this living room are round walls,” explains Lovko. “We decided to make them in such form to get rid of corners and a straight corridor.” Configured as an open space, the apartment features flooring in plaster and microcement, gently complemented by beige-colored soft furnishings. The living space is dressed with a couple of cosy upholstered armchairs, a minimal sofa, and a coffee table in polished stainless steel. Curvy forms continue to appear throughout; in the elegant dining table in marble as well as in other minimalist elements of décor, such as lamps and mirrors. The pared-back aesthetic extends also in the kitchen area, which features table tops in stone and cupboards in wood, contributing to its open and soft character with feelings of spaciousness and warmth.
