Eco-Friendly Lingerie By Elliss | iGNANT.com

[ad_1]

Elliss pieces are crafted with care and conscience; manufactured in the same London building that they’re designed in from natural and recycled materials.

Elliss Solomon launched her eponymous lingerie label after finishing her studies at Central Saint Martins. Her desire was to create pieces that enabled consumers to be “unconsciously conscious” in their purchasing decisions. You buy a piece from Elliss because it is beautiful and it fits; the fact that it’s made from breathable bamboo or recycled ocean plastics is the bonus. Solomon draws together disparate references — 19th-century activist Maria Kononicka, beauty ideals, and summer holidays — in a collection that feels thoroughly of its time. Photographed by Amanda Camenisch, this season’s lookbook was shot in documentary style, three women donning Elliss effortlessly.
