The impressively-extravagant library features a huge astrolabe suspended in mid-air, mechanically mirroring the axis, rotation and position of the show’s fictional planet relative to its sun. Eagle-eyed viewers will notice it looks remarkably similar to the mechanical structure we see in the show’s opening titles.

Sunnydale High School library in Buffy the Vampire Slayer – The octagonal library served as the base for Buffy and her school pals to research demonic activity and train up on their slaying skills. Set high above, hemispherical windows provide eerie and atmospheric lighting. The show celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
Hogwarts Library in Harry Potter – Home to thousands of books covering everything from law to invisibility and dragons, Hogwarts library is an impressive display of English gothic architecture. Large windows and deep-brown arched beams support a beautiful and ornate ceiling. This year marks 17 years since ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ first hit cinemas.
The school library in The Breakfast Club – It’s been 33 years since the release of the John Hughes classic, which featured the famous “brat pack” actors troupe. The library features six oak tables, organised into three rows. An abstract sculpture takes centre position, as light oak finishes and neon lighting reflects the 80s perfectly.
