Architect Steffen Welsch has designed a collection of custom furniture for his own children, that he has named ‘Spider in the Book Tree’.
Designed to reflect their personalities and their hobbies, the wood furniture also provides the children with their own home within the family home, and makes the most of a space that would otherwise be left as a plain wall. Desks transition into shelves and seats, while cutouts in the drawers and cabinets allow for little hands to easily open them.
