Infectiously Energetic Photos By Clara Balzary

[ad_1]

LA-based photographer Clara Balzary can be found working in the field of fashion and advertising, shooting editorials for the likes of Urban Outfitters, Adidas, W Magazine and Teen Vogue.

After being handed a camera at the age of 12, Balzary committed herself to photographing her pet cat religiously. She spent her school lunch breaks in the darkroom, developing her photos and honing in on her craft in her spare time. Post elementary school education she went on to study her trade at the Art Center College of Design in California, before going on to work alongside the influential photographer Mario Sorrenti in New York. In the years since, she has been developing her infectiously positive and energy filled images. “I always aim for a feeling of optimism, authenticity in color, and light, so hopefully that comes through,” she explains.
