The Geneva-based architect has created a space of impact that gives Alpine vernacular a contemporary spin. Externally, the gable-roofed building sits discreetly amongst its neighbors. The only elements that speak of its quiet modernity are the two large square windows at its front. The minimalist interior has been crafted from light wood; the floor, walls, ceiling, and furniture all designed in aesthetic union. The ground floor of the property houses communal spaces; the kitchen, living and dining rooms. The top floor is occupied by bedrooms, lit by skylights and features exposed beams painted in black.
