Photographer Captures Beautiful Polish Folklore Costumes In A Painting-Like Style

According to a photographer Anna Węcel: “My title is Anna Węcel, and I display the gorgeous Polish folklore in a painterly way. I’m a children’s photographer from Poznań, who created a “Painterly folklore project”. The undertaking aims to clearly show how stunning, varied, and vibrant folk costumes from distinct areas of Poland are.

In cooperation with the children’s folklore team Cepelia Poznań, I produced a gallery of attractive paintings exhibiting kids in people costumes from a variety of locations. In the pics you can admire costumes from locations these types of as: Żywiec, Warmia, Kujawy, Cieszyn, Krakow, Orawa, Wielkopolska, Lublin, Kalisz, Łowicz.

Even costumes from the very same area can be quite distinctive. In the images, the young children look as if they were being painted, and that was my intention. As a baby, I was a dancer of the children’s folklore group Cepelia Poznań for 8 yrs. Now my daughter is dancing in the band. Sentiment to folklore, the roots, and the attractiveness of the historical past of my very own nation designed me make your mind up to present to the complete world how stunning it seems to be in Poland.”
