Typical of the work of Paris/Marrakech-based design firm Studio KO, ‘Villa G’ is a lesson in simplicity and a celebration of nature—its concrete mass sitting above the forest of Luberon in France.
Located just beyond Bonnieux, ‘Villa G’ is a three bedroom property that has been elegantly crafted from bare concrete. The structure is large, but not ostentatious. Its interior design minimal and uncluttered, and its exterior a clever play on balance and form. The first floor of the property cantilevers out across the forest, the elevated living room opens to the infinity pool that hangs above the oaks of the protected natural surrounds. From the sky, the home blends with the property, a green roof softening the harsh edges of the concrete structure.
