The Office Of Studio Guilherme Torres

As part of a process of renewal integral to their practice, Studio Guilherme Torres has constructed a new office space in and amongst the skyscrapers of São Paulo.

Inspired by the Mies van der Rohe, “Architecture starts when you carefully put bricks together,” the studio has constructed their 140.0 square meter office and gallery space with a facade of around twenty-five thousand bricks, assembled in a sculptural mosaic format. On the first floor, a gallery and meeting room is filled with natural light and provides space to discuss and share inspiration through creative projects. The second floor provides the company with workspace, implementing details of wooden flooring, dark furniture, and walls coated with marble and cork.
