The ‘G Collection’, pictured below, comprises a bench, coffee table, stool, and console table made from resin and rendered in a pastel color palette of blues, greens, and grays. Each piece of stepped furniture is designed to emulate what the designer describes as “small-scale architectural entities”, and are defined by their linear geometric forms. Koronis says that resin is a misunderstood material that is experiencing a revival in popularity, and that it is “very interesting yet technically challenging” to work with. Elsewhere, Koronis’s low table carved from a single block of travertine presents a striking interior object, while side tables made out of white Carrera marble feature curving corners that appear like a piece of paper being lifted. His atypical forms show a playful devotion to contemporary design, where hard shapes collide with soft tones.
