Zoë Ghertner’s Compelling Photography Centers On Strong Women

Ghertner has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion, including Chanel, Dior, and Hermès, as well as with the most reputable fashion magazines in the world—shooting the covers of i-D Magazine and The Gentlewoman, alongside portraits of Hollywood stars for the likes of American Vogue. Furthermore, she has produced two print publications, Simple Pleasures (2013) and New York Flowers (2012). After transitioning from studying dance to fine arts, Ghertner’s photographic career began with shooting still lifes, before moving naturally but swiftly into fashion photography and moving image.
