As videos grow increasingly popular on social media, apps like Instagram are making it easy for people to share intimate parts of their life. For artists, this presents a fantastic opportunity—and for the viewer, an awesome peek into the laborious creative process. Through short artist videos, we get a firsthand look at how these gifted folks work.
For anyone who loves art or wants to learn more about a technique, observing these artists offers incredible insight. Some, like Jenean Morrison, are very spontaneous in their videos and show that “play” is an important part of stretching your creativity. Morrison also showcases the intuitiveness of the Apple Pencil and iPad Pro. Her digital brush strokes have the distinct look and feel of watercolor paint.
