Charming Cat Comic Illustrates The Weird and Wonderful Ways of Felines

If you have a cat, you can probably relate to these funny illustrations by Landysh, one half of creative duo Lingvistov. The ongoing kitty comic purrfectly captures the hilarious day-to-day moments living with our feline friends, from the challenge of taking a selfie together to inevitable bites and scratches during playtime.

Lingvistov was founded in 2012 by friends and language teachers Landysh and Asia. They decided to combine Landysh’s artistic talent with Asia’s linguistic skills to provide cards, prints, books, and more featuring their charming illustrations and witty captions. “We are a team of creative people who can’t walk past a cute book shop, who love cats, art design, illustrations, and a good joke,” the Russian duo say. “Hey, who doesn’t?”

Lingvistov has recently released its cat comic series as a 2020 calendar, full of seasonally-themed kitty moments for each month. “Cat people need a daily dose of catness just to keep them going,” say Lingvistov. “And what can be better than this traditional Cat Calendar by Lingvistov to remind you every day that no matter what time of year it is, cats are there to make you smile and give you lots of warmth and comfort. Indeed all you need is love… and a cat!”
