Deer Comes Out of the Woods When It Hears a Musician Playing Harp

[ad_1]

Deer are known for being timid creatures, and it’s pretty rare to spot one close-up, in the wild. However, there’s one deer in particular that couldn’t help but come out of the woods when it heard the beautiful sound of Naomi SV’s harp. While filming herself playing a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence, the curious creature is captured coming closer to have a better listen.

There are several scientific studies that suggest certain animals enjoy listening to music, and Naomi SV’s video backs up that hypothesis. The young deer is captured slowly approaching Naomi as it excitedly wags its tail. Meanwhile, Naomi is completely unaware of her secret admirer. The cautious fawn manages to make it within a few yards of the musician, before leaping away into the woods. In turn, Naomi is startled by the deer’s sudden movement and abruptly stops playing her harp. It was only after she watched the recording that she became aware of the fairytale moment that occurred. The talented musician says, “A deer turned my harp session turned into a Disney movie.”

Check out the entire video below, and listen to more of Naomi’s harp covers on YouTube.
