Funny Charts Chronicle Modern Life Through Business Graphics

Designer Irina Blok chronicles modern-day daily life through charts. As a person who will work for a tech company for the duration of the working day, she is no stranger to these varieties of “business” graphics. In her spare time, she generates #honestcharts that mirror every day life—from COVID-19 to the innate difficulties of currently being a human.

Blok began her ongoing sequence of graphics in a response to all of the major charts she sees at do the job. “After staring at presentation slides for hrs each working day,” she tells My Modern-day Satisfied, “when I stop functioning in the night my head is nevertheless entire of charts!” So, she began illustrating how her everyday living transformed all through the pandemic in a sequence of “before and after” scenarios—such as one’s wardrobe pre-COVID and the wardrobe for the duration of the lockdown.
