Avenue Artist Transforms Regular Landscapes Into Playful Forged of People
In the eyes of the artist Tom Bob, a parking block is a lot more than just a concrete slab. To him, this elongated type is a french fry just waiting around to be realized. And significantly to the delight of passersby, he transforms this and other forgettable areas of the urban landscape into colourful characters and objects.
Tom Bob’s intelligent street artwork is all about getting the prospects in a place—be it a manhole go over, pipes, or an array of hoses hanging on a wall. Each of these mundane features has the makings of anything breathtaking. Tom Bob reveals their internal opportunity and, thanks to him, we lastly see them for what they are: a pizza, a worm, and a swashbuckling pirate.
Delight is the central focus of the artist’s creations. “My target is to remodel street objects into enjoyable whimsical characters,” Tom Bob tells My Modern day Fulfilled, “creating the emotion of happiness and ponder.” This is apparent not only in the colors that Tom Bob chooses but conceptually as effectively. When you see how he has found a blue pipe (that matches the wall, intending to be camouflaged) could make a terrific snout for an anteater, you can’t enable but be amazed by his eyesight for a much more playful and joyful entire world.
