Textile Artist Creates Unconventional Woven Art in Massive Looms

Sara Barnes is a Team Editor at My Fashionable Satisfied and Supervisor of My Contemporary Fulfilled Keep. As an illustrator and author living in Seattle, she chronicles illustration, embroidery, and beyond via her web site Brown Paper Bag and Instagram @brwnpaperbag. She wrote a e-book about embroidery artist Sarah K. Benning titled ‘Embroidered Life’ that was released by Chronicle Books in 2019. Sara is a graduate of the Maryland Institute University of Artwork. She gained her BFA in Illustration in 2008 and MFA in Illustration Apply in 2013.
