This Travel Tool Will Find You Cheap Flights Around the World

When you’re planning a vacation, it can be time-consuming to browse countless websites in search of the best flight deals. Luckily for travelers on a budget, MIT Senseable City Laboratory in Singapore recently developed Escape, an interactive map that searches Kiwi and Skyscanner to show you the cheapest and quickest flights in the world from any destination.

The handy search engine allows you to enter the city you’re departing from and your desired travel dates. You can also filter by price, popularity, climate, and even visa requirements. Escape will then produce a large color-coded map, showing the best flight routes according to your personal specifications. The cheapest flights are highlighted in green, mid-priced flights in yellow, and the most expensive are shown in red.

If you already have an idea of where you’d like to go, you can also search geographically. For instance, if you’re dying to visit South America, you can select it from the “continents” menu at the bottom of the screen. Escape will then show a break down of the cheapest destination in each country.
