Do you remember your favorite teacher? Chances are you didn’t love them for the subject they taught, but how fun they made their lessons. A physics student named Erica recently shared her admiration for her professor, Dr. David Wright, in a now-viral video on Twitter. The heartwarming montage reveals the crazy lengths the dedicated teacher at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach goes to to show his students just how exciting science can be.

“Y’all need to see this video collage of all the crazy things my Physics Professor did this semester,” Erica writes on Twitter. “He’s in his 70s and is still doing all of this for us.” The video shows clips of Dr. Wright in class, demonstrating different experiments in his own entertaining way. From propelling himself down the corridor on a skateboard to jumping up and down on a pogo stick, it’s clear to see just how much he enjoys teaching. One piece of footage even shows Dr. Wright making his whole class ice cream with liquid nitrogen.

After learning that Erica compiled his best moments into a video, Dr. Wright wrote a response via email. “Thank you very much for sharing that with me,” he says. “It was an amazing semester, because I had amazing students.”
