A Home Built For Art And Design Collectors

Located in centre of Israel, the aptly named ‘House In Rishpon’ was designed by Tel Aviv-based Studio de Lange to provide a home for a family and their collection of art and design.

House In Rishpon is situated on a 8000 square meter plot, and is composed of two rectangular blocks that meet to form a T-shape structure. This simple geometric form is also established within “The result of a fruitful dialogue with veteran clients who have vast knowledge and love for art and design”the residence, which presents an open plan interior of minimal design and sparse use of colour and materials, namely concrete, natural stone and aluminium. With the clients being a couple who desired to create a suitable home for their large art and design collection, House In Rishpon provides an ideal blank canvas in which to integrate and display paintings, sculptures and objects. Architectural practice Studio de Lange describe the building as “the result of a fruitful dialogue with veteran clients who have vast knowledge and love for art and design. It is the owners’ art and design collection, intertwined with the architecture that creates this home’s elegant atmosphere.” Constructed with open plan living and dining areas as the main hub for the home gallery, House in Rishpon also features a large garden space, presenting a pool, palm trees and a stone paved drive.
