Family Album – IGNANT

In the Album series Jon Uriarte investigates the subject that powered photography the most from its very beginnings, yet was always relegated to the amateur sphere and considered to be purely anecdotal: the family album. Using himself as guinea pig through pictures that make up his family album, the author introduces us to a new visual dimension, that of faceless memory. Throuhg careful editing and working, every day pictures become phantasmagoric images.
