Chantal Convertini was enamoured by photography since she received her first camera at the age of 15. As you can see in her Instagram she shoots a bit of everything, but the Swiss photographer has a natural inclination to portraiture, evident in her amazing self portraits. Light plays an important role in her photography. Whether she is using natural light or is illuminated by a lamp, her images transmit an emotion and intimacy to her audience.
“Wherever I go I see things that catches my eye. I love to create images of all kinds of things,” she says. “Sometimes it’s about the moment, sometimes about colors and lines and sometimes just about making art.”
